Day and night meet at the shore. The water is turquoise and the sand almost golden, so bright it seems to hum. But in the dark, the houses tilt slightly — leaning into their own thoughts, as if the night has softened them into reverie. A road runs between the worlds, threading them together, leading toward the light. Nothing here is still, nothing here is urgent. The day breathes deeply, and everything, even the buildings, remembers how to daydream.
